Continuation of the concert series The Story of the Keys of Art and Science from 24 October 2024 at the Fotorenesance Gallery in Vinohrady in Prague. This time we will take a look into the life of Bohemian artists in Vienna, Berlin, Paris, Bayreuth or London in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The Story about in Keys....

This series of concerts accompanied by words looks into the lives of Czech musicians who lived abroad in the 18th and 19th centuries. Their lives were intertwined with the lives of local artists and rulers and influenced by their culture. But their art also co-created the musical tradition of their new homes. In our series, we will once again encounter figures with a passion for the arts and sciences, and delve into a web woven by friendship, games of fate, great political events or chance.

Voluntary entrance fee

This year we will meet at the Fotorenesance Gallery in the informal premises of Club 3 in Nitranská 13, near the metro station A Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad. The premises of the former restaurant are dedicated to the legacy of the legendary photographer Václav Chochola (1923-2005) and under the leadership of photographer, publisher and founder of the Fotorenesance Association Karel Koutský, they function as a modern platform focused on photography.
